Our Laundry, Bath House, and General Store were also remodeled and now boast central heat and air, plus endless hot water. The park today is a totally rebuilt park with new wiring and pedestals for 90% of the sites. With a vision, long hours, great campers, and money plowed back in, the campground began to take off. The Fischers arrived in the spring of 1990 to a foreclosed, empty campground. The Campground was originally built, in the late 70’s, for the great Knoxville World’s Fair in 1982. Our family, as well as our employees, take great pride to serve our campers with a welcoming, clean and convenient family campground open year round in the Knoxville, TN area.
